A line up shaped on Country.

The Cherbourg Festival programme is curated in partnership with cultural leaders, Elders and the Council. Each year balances local Wakka Wakka voices with First Nations artists from across the country.

Disciplines on the programme include contemporary music, traditional dance, language and storytelling, hip hop, instrumental performance, weaving, painting and ceremony.

Expressions of interest for the 2027 inaugural programme will open through the Council in early 2027. In the meantime, write to us at ceo@cherbourg.qld.gov.au and we'll keep you on file.
